Monk est une série télévisée étasunienne créée par Andy Breckman et diffusée depuis le 12 juillet 2002 sur le réseau USA Network. En France, la série est diffusée depuis le 22 mars 2003 sur TF1.
Synopsis
Adrian Monk était un excellent policier de San Francisco avant de perdre son épouse dans des conditions dramatiques. Depuis, il souffre de sérieux troubles obsessionnels compulsifs qui ne lui permettent plus de poursuivre sa carrière.
Avec l'aide de son psychiatre et de son infirmière personnelle, il devient détective privé et collabore régulièrement avec la police, espérant secrètement qu'on le réintègre.
