Karl Vere Barker-Benfield (1892-1969) est un général britannique.

Biographie[modifier | modifier le code]

Attaché militaire en Hongrie, Autriche et Suisse de 1935 à 1938, Karl Vere Barker-Benfield est General Staff Officer au War Office de 1938 à 1939.

Il commande l'Artillerie royale de 1941 à 1942.

Il est inspecteur de la formation du renseignement (War Office) en 1943, puis Brigadier chargé du Service de renseignements de 1944 à 1945.

Il est commandant des forces lors de la Bataille de Crète.
